The 37th Budapest Spring Festival, between 31 March – 23 April, awaits visitors with a programme that involves many of the arts, with events in classical music, opera, jazz, world music, dance, contemporary circus, theatre and the visual arts. With the best Hungarian performers and world stars, the Budapest Spring Festival is a truly special occasion, presenting premieres and co-productions with partner institutions.
Realized in a cooperation between Müpa Budapest, the Budapest Festival and Tourism Centre, and Hungarian Tourism Agency the event series continues to broaden its offer by involving the leading cultural institutions of the city.
Hangvető has been organizing concerts and festivals since 2004, and is an established world and folk music label. We are one of the major actors in the CEE region.
Hangvető proudly hosted the biggest international world music event, WOMEX in Budapest in 2015. We work with acclaimed partners such as Müpa Budapest, the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, Castle Garden Bazaar and A38 Ship. Our main festivals are Budapest Ritmo and Budapest A Cappella. We partner with numerous professional actors across Europe, and foster regional cooperation.
