The duduk, a double-reed instrument made of apricot is the national instrument of Armenia. Its signature sound, warm and impelling, is popular all over the Caucasus, but it’s origin is firmly located in Georgia. UNESCO lists the duduk and its music, i.e. the countless traditions tied to it, as intangible heritage. At PONT festival, you can learn the circular breathing technique.
